Motorized Shades for Door County Lake Homes and Cottages
Evolved Habitat designs and installs motorized shades in Door County, WI — from Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor to Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Baileys Harbor and Ellison Bay. Door County homes are built around the water view, and the right shades let you keep that view while controlling glare, heat and privacy.
As a Lutron Black Diamond dealer, we install Lutron Palladiom and other Lutron motorized shades, plus Progressive MagnaTrack motorized porch screens for porches and patios.
Motorized Porch Screens for Door County Porches
Door County evenings bring bugs and wind off the bay. We install Progressive MagnaTrack motorized screens in two kinds: bug screens and clear vinyl. Clear vinyl screens keep the patio warmer and cleaner and make the space livable longer, stretching the porch season into spring and fall. MagnaTrack uses a magnetic, free-floating side track instead of a zipper track, lowers at the touch of a button and works with most smart home systems, including Lutron. More on our motorized outdoor shades and screens. We plan the tracks and wiring with the rest of your outdoor living space.
Shades That Work for Second Homes
Many Door County homes sit empty part of the year. Smart shades can follow a daily schedule while you're away, so the house looks lived-in and furniture stays protected. Check or adjust them from your phone back home.
Plan Shades Into New Construction
Building in Door County? Bring us in before drywall. We work with your builder on shade pockets, blocking and power so hard-wired shades disappear into the ceiling. Learn how we work with Door County home builders.

Automate Your Comfort
Lower every shade in the great room with one keypad button, the app, or your voice. Tall windows and hard-to-reach clerestories stop being a problem.
Effortless Privacy After Sunset
Schedule shades to close around sunset. They follow the sun as the season changes, so the house is private once the lights come on, whether you're home or not.
Protect Floors and Furniture From Bay Sun
Water reflects a lot of light. Program shades to lower during the brightest hours to cut glare and help reduce fading on wood floors, rugs and art.
Smart Shade Benefits for Your Door County Home
EASE AND CONVENIENCE
Control shades from keypads, remotes, your phone or tablet, or by voice with Josh.ai, Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
ENERGY SAVINGS
Lower shades on hot summer afternoons and raise them for winter sun to give your heating and cooling natural help.
CLEAN STYLE, QUIET OPERATION
No cords, no clutter. Wired Lutron shades are planned at pre-wire for new builds, and we walk through retrofit options for existing homes at your consultation.
SAFER FOR KIDS AND PETS
Cord-free operation removes dangling lift cords, a common safety concern with standard blinds.
